Impermanence
word of the day: impermanence
When I have realized that everything is impermanence, my pain was relieved.
A week ago, while I’m driving my bicycle to go to the workplace, I had an accident that was not much terrible. However, it’s the first time that I know how is nail extraction feels.
It looks scary for me at that time. The first bandaging was painful. Since it is the toes nails I can’t walk and take a shower normally like before. I was nervous and wished it will get better very soon. When something bad happened to people it seems like we have to feel bad, right? But pain can’t live with us forever. I got better just 3–4 days later. It is not hurt like the first day.
This experience teaches me that everything is impermanence. Something that makes me feel bad the time will always be by my side. If I love myself enough, I won’t let my feelings dive into distress. When my body hurt, I just have to do my best to take care of myself. It may be one of my unlucky days but I will have my good day, too.
